The program lasts 3 years, Which includes mandatory clinical rotations and practical midwifery training.
1. Education: 10+2 (Higher secondary school ) passed a recognised board, preferably with Science subject (Physics, Chemistry , Biology ) and English , securing at least 40 % aggregate marks or GPA 1.6 Some state council allow ( Arts , Commerce, Management , Education , Hotel Management , Health, Computer Science , Humanities streams with minimum qualifying marks.

2. Age limit : Minimum 17 years; maximum 35 years at the time of admission.
you can work as a staff nurse , community health nurse , or in other nursing roles, depending on your country's registration requirements. you can also pursue further nursing education .
You learn about :
Nursing Care- caring for kids and injured patients.
Midwifery- care for pregnant women , mothers ,and new born babies.
Medicine and treatments.
Human anatomy, physiology, and basic medicine science.
Hospital and community care.
Emergency and basic patient care.
GNM-General Nursing and Midwifery is a professional nursing three years course that trains students to become nurses and midwives.
